Description
his project transforms a former manmade pond into a natural stream and wetland system that improves water quality in the Little Miami River – Ohio’s first state and national Wild and Scenic River. The project also reduces long-term maintenance needs while strengthening habitat for native plants and wildlife. Just as importantly, it creates a “living classroom” where residents can experience firsthand how natural systems work—creating lifelong connections between people and nature.
The project was made possible through support from the H2Ohio program and the American Rescue Plan Act, along with strong local partnerships. We’d be honored to have you there as we celebrate this milestone.
